Burnout Paradise won the racing game award, Fallout 3 was the best RPG, Soul Calibur IV took fighting honours, Professor Layton was voted the best handheld game, and Wold of Goo won best independent game. Other multiple winners were Gears of War 2 (best shooter, best Xbox 360 game), Rock Band 2 (best soundtrack, best music game), Left 4 Dead (best multi-player game, Best PC game), Metal Gear Solid 4 (best graphics, best original score, best female human performance) and LittleBigPlanet, which claimed best PS3 game as well as Studio of the Year for Media Molecule.īoom Blox was judged the best Wii release of the year.
